The Ubuntu version with a ton of extensions is even worse. I simply cannot use a desktop, that is designed to have limitations. Most of the GNOME apps are simply too simple for me to use. There are some features missing from the shell itself, that I would need to add back with extensions and those break basically at every new major release.
You already know my opinion on most of GNOME from other threads.
