Last time in Iceland, I finally got to see the #Aurora borealis for the first time. We were already asleep in our container hotel when I was woken up around 11:30 by cheers from outside. Half-awake and still under the blankets, I looked out the window and there it was—the Northern Lights, swirling in all their glory. The freezing temperatures outside made the decision easy: I stayed in my 'bedroom observatory' and took photos from the warmth of my blankets. A once-in-a-lifetime experience.
