My mum's a Christian. That's nice. She believes the Bible is God's word. That's OK. She also believes that the Bible is the LITERAL truth.
That's crazy.
Let's not even get started on the crazy books like Revelations. How about this? In the last chapter of 1 Samuel, the bible tells us King Saul dies by suicide.
And then, in the first chapter of 2 Samuel, it tells us he was murdered by an Amalekite.
If that isn't the Bible looking us in the eye & saying fuck you then I don't know what it is.
