"content": "I muted everyone that was there. I muted every mention of the words, every mention of con, every mention of California, Santa Cruz, anything to do with it, and I still ended up in a really bad place. I lost sleep, I bawled my eyes out almost nightly, I barely ate, I got really depressed, even borderline suicidal, contemplating selling my character and giving up the lifestyle altogether because of the way I felt. I don’t think anyone understands how much something like this would mean to me to be able to go even just once.",
