Two weeks on, and I've doubled follower count again. Engagement is way too. I've noticed several of the "web folks" I follow here are posting there more often. It definitely feels like momentum there.
I still have all of the same concerns others have raised (lack of a viable finding model being the most important)
My point is a #ux one: they are showing how powerful starter packs can be (combined with a much simpler sign up flow)
(I don't want to hear masto's signup is "just fine")
