So, genuine, non challenging question - do you mean "everyone" as in "everyone in the rich world"? Because in my part of the world, there are many people who definitely don't know anything about climate change at all.
I guess it's a useless point for me to make, because typically the people I'm talking about don't have much economic or political power either? Comparatively? And your bigger argument still stands, that we need to create ways for people to be able to use whatever political power they do have.
