I have had a drive of a Thornycroft Mighty Antar Mk1. It has a V8 Meteorite petrol engine that was 2/3 of a Rolls Royce Meteor tank engine.
Four carburettors the size of buckets, a gallon to start it and 2 gallons to the mile when driven light.
