Finally got my landscaping Business off the ground. Honestly I thought it was going to be harder than it actually was. All I had to do was file for Articles of Organization with the state (which is literally just a small form) and pay their $100 filing fee. Then filed for my EIN with the fed (another small form w/ no fees).
Who knew becoming a business was so simple? Now itβs time to use this LLC to play the tax game.
Any advice is welcomed. Creative deductions anyone? Iβm building a food forest so I figured a lot of the expensed equipment I could use as dual purpose for the business and on the homestead.
Iβm currently sitting on about 12 clients with my niche landscaping company where I only use organic fertilizer applications (mainly compost tea) and offer composting service and other gardening needs
Iβve been able to slowly transition away from gas power equipment for 2 main reasons:
1. Lower maintenance cost (parts and time)
2. Lower environmental impact
Iβm running DeWalt 60v string trimmer and leaf blower which matches perfectly with all my other DeWalt tools and the battery system is interchangeable making it extremely valuable. Iβll be investing in a DeWalt Zero-turn once the platform is on the market. In the mean time, Iβm running a Hustler Fastrak that I got for free for mowing a clients yard for a whole season last year.
I donβt know much about NOSTR but figure this could be a nice place to start blogging since everything here is kinda permanent. βΊοΈ
Prepare for the worst but pray for the best!! Time to kick some ass yβall!!!!
