Why? The devs didn't add that function.
Indeed, Primal is the only client I know of that notifies you about follows.
It would be nice if #Amethyst had more controls regarding notifications. If enough users want something like that and let Vitor Pamplona (nprofile…pyug) know about it, it just might get added.
