Governments are typically instituted to promote the welfare of their citizens, protect their rights, and enable their prosperity, not to undermine their health, intelligence, productivity, or awareness. NOT ANYMORE THOUGH!!
Here is what you get today and why....
1. **Control and Compliance:** A population that is less educated and less healthy may be easier to control or manipulate, as they may be less likely to question authority or resist abuses of power.
2. **Created Dependency:** If citizens are unhealthy or unable to work due to laziness or sickness, they may become more dependent on government aid, which could give the government more influence over their lives.
