I just got a thought that might help you.
As an Australian our bureaucracy highly favours something we call a "Statutory Declaration"
It's basically a statement by you "Yo, I got this award", dated, signed and stamped with yours and another witness siggy. I think it's may best be a justice of peace or even a postmaster.
There are severe penalties for false statements and in many cases is accepted as suitable proof for lesser matters (prove your awards)
