the City of Edmonton park ranger called back about my coyote ‘sighting’. some gems:
- told me to keep my cat inside roughly thirty times. it wasn’t my cat, bro.
- told me that it killed the cat because they’re competition. what
- told me that coyotes have the same bite force as a fox and so they’re not dangerous.
- told me that it was definitely normal for them to have shown up in a pack of four and then in the next breath mentioned abnormal behaviour “like seeing more than one at once”
