It is 100x harder for us to order prescription dog medicine from Chewy than it is for Mrs Tek to order opiates for her patients. She can send those in to the pharmacy electronically. Chewy requires original hardcopies from a vet physically mailed in to a processing center.
Which is an extra hassle when they lose the prescription, requiring you to take time off work to run an errand to the vet to pick up another original hardcopy.
