#Lectionary post: Endings
The Gospel of Mark, or at least the part of it that everyone agrees on, ends very abruptly. The women who have come to anoint Jesus' body find the tomb empty except for a stranger clothed in white who informs them Jesus has risen and will meet them in Galilee. The women flee and tell no one. And that's it. That's the end.
