It's an interesting question. Sadly I'm not sure I COULD give it up if I wanted to. I love Fosstodon and I have no desire to leave it, but even OTHER platforms I would love see in the rear view I've had trouble vacating completely. To my shame, I still have an account on Meta's Face platform. I don't used now, but when my mom passed away a few years ago it was what I used to coordinate family stuff. All other social media is once a week/month, but it's still there. Just in case.
