Libertarianism originally was a modern branch of Anarchism. The American idea they now call #Libertarianism is just right-wing bullshit that has nothing to do with #Anarchism, as it hopes to achieve its goals through state processes such as elections.
Many Anarchist philosophers, such as Bakunin, Malatesta, Kropotkin, Proudhon, to name a few, are from the XIX century.
