My church has cattle guards at all the entrances, and this morning a woman got her heel stuck in one of them, she had to get down to get it unstuck.
This man was standing there watching and commented that it was a cattle guard and that the guards are good at catching cows.
The instant he said it aloud, he realised how horrid it was to say that. 🤭 She was gracious and didn’t take it personally at all.
