the sketchiest part of my travels to el salvador and guatemala was definitely the dogs. i had a pack of dogs come after me in guatemala and i had to go to a local clinic cause i wasn't sure if one of the dogs bit me or if i was bleeding cause one of the dogs scratched my mosquito bites open. luckily it was just a scratch and i didn't have to extend my stay for rabies treatment. the clinic helped me right away and didn't charge me a dime. they even gave me antibiotics and ibuprofen for free.
