The same goes for emigration--it makes sense only in extreme conditions, when you're actually facing persecution (that was my reason for leaving Poland). Of course, moving to Europe for other reasons is a personal choice (which I'm glad I made). Not to mention that Europe needs all the help it can get, now that it can't count on the US.
