Bam on Nostr: The GOP spent *five decades* trying to create the Supreme Court into what is there ...
The GOP spent *five decades* trying to create the Supreme Court into what is there today and *still* needed the tyranny of the minority of the Electoral College *twice* to get what they wanted. Why some people think one Presidential election can completely undo that, rather than preparing for a generational struggle that could be just as long and do just as much to get the Court—with Justices who hold life tenure—back to some level of sanity is absolutely beyond my understanding.
We really need to do a much better job teaching civics in this country.
