"content": "I had a conversation earlier this week with nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpqvv2ugtfe33nsz28qfwm2mlrgdzq08us5sgwr8wxk03ycyr9upmwqd0lprt about smartphone apps and photography... And I mentioned how revolutionary the iPhone-only Hipstamatic app was when it was first released in 2009. It had amazing high contrast black and white processing.\n\nNot having an iPhone but very much wanting to do what Hipstamatic did, I reverse-engineered the equivalent in Photoshop and did a module on it in a class I was teaching downtown. This was the photo I used in that class. \n\nTaken with my Pentax DSLR through a Muni streetcar window in Civic Center Station.\n\n#photography #StreetPhotography\n\nhttps://files.sfba.social/media_attachments/files/113/884/983/524/859/536/original/0906cfa7bfa94a1a.jpg",
