the biggest two flaws i found in the book were the hermeticism and the lack of understanding the sun- and galaxy- driven cycle,

there is also other stuff in there about how these people, who it asserts were who were called "angels" or "watchers" or "gods" (small G) just as they said in enoch and revelation and daniel are coming back for a "harvest" and other stuff hinting towards the idea that they intend to reunite with us, after carefully selecting who comes, and bringing us to a new planet
i know because you have that scifi inclination that you might appreciate that. it also points out how a lot of aspects of the Book of Mormon also hints at the idea of the angels being like us and having high technology, i think they even say something like "it was the first "science fiction" based religion, and they interestingly have a lot of interesting rules about stuff that relates to electricity, magnetism and electrostatics (mormons are not supposed to wear synthetic fibres)
so, yeah, there's a pretty good chance you will be still around for that, but even still, imagine how much more advanced they have gotten since they were able to leave here, abandoning their great city in the area of the Great Pyramids
there is also a bunch of texts from ancient egypt referring to these "gods" and one of the most obvious artifacts of their legacy are these extremely precisely machined granite vases, that were found to have been made with a very precise, common mathematical ratio, and current technology for scanning its machining precision were not able to find a level of variance over what we can do now with CNC machines, hinting at the idea that not only did they have gravity tech, they also had robots and computers
