#WordWeavers Day 11 Did you realize what writing was going to be like when you started?
The writing itself was pretty much as I expected, but I had no clue how predatory, extractive, and grinding the business of writing would turn out to be, and just how fetid and abusive it is to writers.
I had not understood how low on the scale writers were considered, how few ever made it to publication, and that most of those who are published could not earn a living wage from the proceeds
