A study that confirms what many thought: the more you design a city in such a way that citizens are encouraged to use public spaces where they can come in contact with people from diverse backgrounds, and the composition of your neighbourhoods is mixed, the less likely your citizens are to be racist.
The more you design a city around the lines of racial/income segregation, homogenous neighbourhoods, or worse you remove easily accessible public spaces, the more racist your citizens will get.
Corollary: racism is nothing but the unjustified prejudice against something or someone you barely know and have barely been exposed to.
