Honestly, to me being an admin adds a layer of exhaustion to the whole thing. I love Fosstodon, there's no question about that, and I'm extremely proud of what we've done here, but being an admin does make my "social media experience" feel more like a job than recreation. It's the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do at night before going to sleep. Thankfully we have a great moderation team to help us out and we're allowed to take a break if we need to.
