I have been getting invitations for all sorts of cardiology-related events and journal editorial boards for years now, and I keep wondering whether this could be due to the heart surgery I had (as a patient!) five years ago...
I keep thinking that our colleagues who write, edit or review for MDPI should consider this abusive behaviour before they decide on their next engagement with these criminals.
