Derek, what makes this a difficult conversation? I understand the choice to run knots, and I do run knots too based on principle.
Why does it sound like the Core side doesn’t care what the Knots side has to say about this matter?
Also, given rough consensus hasn’t been reached, why do Core devs still push the software update?
I thought the default was the status quo, and the burden of proof lays on the group who submits the PR.
