For something like a Custom, where I'm just never going to pay 3k for a used 5k guitar, an Epi would be fine if has the Traditional neck. Hate the 2015 style neck many Epis now have.
I bet the singlecut, P90, tune o matic Melody Makers are still 500 bucks. That's what mine is, and they are KILLER. I've never seriously considered selling mine.
They're basically a Junior with a Melody Maker headstock.
