Bitcoin has not yet proven its self as money to the masses. Although I do feel that is coming, its still only a tiny part of the system. It has a long way to go. Thus we are still very early adopters of the tech and we often forget that. So for now it is a store of value. Then it moves into a medium of exchange and then becomes a dominating store of value. Of course these are not absolutes. Just my humble opinion. Its all a great big experiment and anything can happen. The will of the people and human consciousness is powerful.
