#WordWeavers 5 Have you ever had a crush on one of your characters?
If I'm not halfway in love with my male protagonist (I'm straight, so ...) by the halfway point of the manuscript, I figure I've done something wrong.
I'm serious.
I primarily write dual timeline historicals with romantic elements, so I'm looking for reasons to care alongside the facts. That translates onto the page for the reader.
