When I was born in 1945, the first air I breathed contained about 310ppm CO₂, about 10% above what it had been through all of human & probably our prehuman primate ancestors' history, millions of years.

Now it has recently peaked for this year at 424.38, 2ppm higher than last year's peak & 36% higher than when I was born & about 51% above the baseline.

For anyone who might point out that these are very small numbers, Hydrogen Cyanide is lethal not much over 100ppm, & as far as % increases go, if oxygen had increased by the same 50% then it would be a very different world, we would all he living way up in the mountains where the reduced Oxygen level was less toxic watching the smoke from everything below us burning.
