Making the most passionate and fastest growing user base self conscious about what they talk about is a big mistake. I’d say let things play out as they will. The protocol needs passionate well informed people developing on it for the right reasons. The early adopters on the web were nerdy males. That changed as those nerdy males built platforms to attract other audiences. These things take time. Social sanctioning speech right now is counter productive IMO.
