I am friends with a local Maine anchorman, & he shared with me that his TV station wanted him to travel to Bar Harbor during a "Northeaster" snowstorm to get some Blizzard footage.
Road conditions were treacherous, 0 visibility, zero traction, with blowing & drifting snow. Bar Harbor is 44 mile away with very hilly roadway.
It all about the drama, that's all the broadcast media's got. He didn't go.
