1/2 How many employees does Twitter have? It's uncertain due to recent cuts, but maybe... 3,000-4,000 at this point. How about Facebook?
There are now perhaps hundreds, if not thousands, of previously unconnected individuals building on Nostr. Some of you represent teams, others are hard at work building on your own.
And that is fine. Nostr will grow. Slowly.
Now here's where this could get even more interesting... We all continue to work on our respective ideas (often with limited individual resources), building and promoting Nostr in general, but in addition to that, thousands of us come together to form a global workforce that serves a *common* goal. A "decentralized organization", if you will.
What is the goal you may ask?
The goal, as I see it, is to fix the Internet. Too much power currently resides in the hands of a few.. People that have, in many cases, clearly demonstrated that they are not responsible enough to be in control of the network that connects most of humanity.
