The minimum age to be accountable for crimes should be none, not because I don't believe in "accountability", whatever that means, that usually amounts to punitive performance, but I just don't believe the punitive system is even effective and helping people stop and reconsider their life choices and then actually helping them and seeing through changing stuff in favour of them. The prison-industrial complex is nothing but yet another place to store people society decided to marginalise and label as criminals even though they don't just get created in a vacuum, most crimes aren't just about waking up one day and wanting to shoot up a school or wanting to stab someone.
