This could be pretty cool to build into stuff like the Go runtime too: if your Go program runs under systemd, the Go runtime could seamlessly hook into the kernel's memory pressure notifications and trigger GC or other forms of memory release when requested. Mostly invisible to the end user, but all these system components just talk among themselves and cooperate a bit better to keep the system alive <3
