Been using Mint for a while now and I really like Cinnamon but thinking Mate might be slightly snappier on my 7+ year old laptop (i5, SSD, 8gb ram).
In day to day I suspect the window management keyboard shortcuts (super+up, down etc) I'd miss but surely that can be replicated on Mate?
