April 15th is the official start date for my AT thru-hike! That's just over 5 weeks away. I'm excited and freaked out!
My wife is probably the only person in the world that realizes how big a deal this hike is on a personal level. She's very worried I won't come back. Not because of any dangers on the trail but that I'll decide I just don't want to come home.
My biggest fear is quite the opposite. I'm worried I'll come home early and defeated.
