The other day I figured it out: the difference between random queer girls flirting with me on here vs. random straight cis dude is that it is actually an interaction about and involving me.
When a lot of cishet guys attempt to “flirt” with a random woman online, it is almost always about them and what they want. They are “flirting” AT you. I am at best an image and idea that they are using as a target for their comments and dickpics. I’m not really there at all and a chatbot with a profile pic would simulate the interaction they fantasize about.
When queer girls flirt with me on here, I am part of it and it is a dynamic interaction. Even if it’s just a sentence or two back and forth, I can tell me as a subject and my desires are part of the picture. And they will often test the waters with lighter stuff and then calibrate based upon what I express or imply that I want or desire.
Thing is: cishet dudes could do this and I would probably be down! Just gotta get out of your own way!
