In order for Core and Knots to satisfy dependents such as LND, they have the same package ID. This means StartOS sees them as the same service under the hood. So when you clicked "Update" for Core, StartOS probably showed you a loading indicator for Knots as well. Don't worry, it didn't get installed, just a bug that is already fixed in the next version of StartOS
