"content": "Well certainly I'm having fun, as futile as it's turning out to be :) And I did end up picking a book on how digital video work, which has a whole bunch of stuff on the trickiness of analog video as well! I _think_ these resistor DACs that retrocomputing enjoys have \"sin(x)/x error\" on their output, where the video signals get damaged a little. That can allegedly be fixed with the right post-DAC filter to rebalance the signal, but that's well out of my knowledge sphere atm!",
