We are moving to a new house. My vision is to produce my own meat and eggs without outside resources. I won't achieve this quickly. Plan is to have protein fodder trees, amaranth for greens and grain, Jerusalem artichokes for greens and tubers, sunflower for greens and grain, worms for compost and feeding to quail. I plan to feed greens and worms when available and then dried greens, tubers, and sprouted grains in winter. Any major nutrients you think I'm missing? I'll have feed as back up and provide a little for consistency maybe but not sure if I'd need to. Any insight you have would be appreciated.
