Today is my birthday and I don’t feel great awesome special unique WOW I LOVE THE GIFTS wow I am growing up
24 is a very unremarkable age but probably a milestone in realising that on this day life keeps being shit and the world keeps falling apart, with no exceptions.
I guess growing up means also growing more disillusioned about the sparkly awesomeness of birthdays.
Being an only child slowed down this awareness process but I got here too, eventually.
