I did get into once accident last year where some retard had 3 car lengths of space between the car in front of them in dead stop traffic. My lane was closing up ahead so I put my signal on, waited a few seconds, and merged into that lane and he drove into the side of my car.
His car had ZERO damage other than a paint trade that could be buffed out with a wet rag. It was a <5mph collision and they paid out $1,100 for damages and $8,900 for bodily injury.
