my eyes were closed. i listened to them run about the house.

laughter. laughter. such delightful laughter.

magical, i thought. so special.

after listening for a while, i opened my eyes. i'd make them breakfast.

strange. it was pitch dark out.

i checked the time.

3am!!!

not so magical.

but magical.
