Going to sit in on an interview for my own position. Which is fine. Except that the interviewee is a friend of mine. I suggested he throw his hat into the ring. Didn't expect to sit in on this one.
I was able to secure the interview, but I feel like it's on him to sell himself to my coworkers.
Feels weird. Not gonna throw softballs, but I also want to be fair. Or maybe I shouldn't be; this isn't court. Obviously not even fully a meritocracy if I got him an interview. Hmm.
