It was a little weird at first but after a day, it was just felt normal, and it worked well for night vision. I actually think I saw better under the red lights than normal street lights.

I was looking at old photos and came across this one. As a pilot program, they replaced the streetlights with red lights. That reduce light pollution, killed fewer insects and reduced the impact of lights on wildlife.
It was a little weird at first but after a day, it was just felt normal, and it worked well for night vision. I actually think I saw better under the red lights than normal street lights.
