I have the "chews on literally everything" kind of autism, and it used to cause tons of problems, cause I'd chew through all my headphone cables, and the way my autism specialist decided to fix that was to give me a washable silicone/rubber thingy that I could safely chew on, but like....
the much better solution would have been to give me a girlfriend I could chew on
