I've been talking about G+ since inception, it is what Nostr can offer but struggles to at this time. The ability to filter people at your own discretion is key to community-building and feed curation.
Google created a problem when they tried to compete with Facebook- They gave users the ability to access the information and users they wanted, at their discretion. Which means they didn't have to stick around on G+ all day. This is good for users! But bad for revenue.
