There is a good reason I have two big projects. Sentinel 65X is the retrogaming and “productized” project, the one that is targeted more at users and programmers than tinkerers and DIYers. That’s why it has game centric design features like ROM cartridges and SNES controllers and sprite and tile graphics.
Bifrost is more of a tinkerer’s machine, meant for the kind of use to which you might put an RC2014 or S-100 system.
When I have an idea, it goes to one bin or the other, depending on where it’s a better fit. This helps me, ‘cause it lets me think more freely.
